#92: Sport Mix-Up

Amanda is running with a football in hand. "SHE'S IN THE 30... THE 20..." says the commentator from off-panel. "AND SHE SCORES! THE CROWD GOES WILD!" Amanda has dunked the football in a basketball hoop. "?" she says. She serves a volleyball with a tennis racket. A black chess rook moves. "AND NOW SHE'S UP TO SERVE! AVOIDS THE ROOK ON A2!" "?!?" she says. Now she is dodging a giant purple Tetris T block and a golden ball with wings whizzes toward her. "!!" she says. "LINE CLEARED! AND THE SNITCH MISSES HER..." "Time out, guys! WHAT IS GOING ON?!" she says to Fred, Max, and Alex, who are holding a giant red round bird, a tennis racket and ball, and a volleyball, respectively. "I thought we were playing volleyball!" says Alex. "I thought it was tennis!" says Max. "I thought we're playing Angry Birds!" says Fred. Amanda puts her face in her hands, extremely frustrated. 
"I thought we were playing Quidditch!" "I thought we were playing chess!" "I thought we were playing tic-tac-toe!"

#91: Celestial Manager

Max tells Elaine "I just got my Manager license!" "Uh...what?" says Elaine. "See?" says Max, showing her a card that says "CELESTIAL MANAGER 012499628 NAME Maxim Janet McJeannason SPECIES Homo sapiens" and has a picture of Max. "Probably doesn't do anything." she says. Max looks at the card. It radiates a red signal. "?" says Elaine as the ground cracks slightly. She is thrown onto the right side and Max remains on the left as a huge chasm appears. "Yeah, you're probably right." says Max as the signal stops. 
Max is promoted.

#90: The Box Returns (Part Seven)

A red lawn mower CRASHes through the wall. Everything except it is negative-colored. We see Alex, Max, and Spider-Fish hanging from the ceiling. RRRRR goes the lawn mower. "A lawn mower?" says Alex. "Hop on!" says Spider-Fish. They ride the lawn mower out of the hole in the wall, everything is colored back to normal. A cardboard box with smiley face gallops after them. "Look, it's our box!" says Max. The box hops on the mower's handle. "the end" is the caption. Then, Cutie Pie snaps his bonds off. "RGH!" he says. SNAP! "or is it?" is the caption.



Alex, Max, Spider-Fish, and their loyal box ride a lawn mower to freedom while Cutie Pie escapes his bonds.

#89: The Box Returns (Part Six)

Spider-Fish, with web shooting out of her tail, shoots toward Cutie Pie. "YAHHRGHH!" Cutie Pie ducks. Spider-Fish flies off panel. "OW!" PAF Then Spider-Fish wraps Cutie Pie in web. "ha! Never underestimate SPIDER-FISH!" Cutie Pie is tied up hanging from the ceiling. Spider-Fish radiates blue waves. "We're taking another way out." she tells Alex and Max. "meanwhile" is the caption. We have a bird's eye view of Amanda's lawn, the lawn mower she is holding rolls away from her, following the signal. "Hey!" says Amanda. 
Spider-Fish corrupts a lawn mower with spider senses.

#88: The Box Returns (Part Five)

Max and Alex are inside a room with a cage and a door. Everything is negative colored. "Now what?" asks Alex. "Don't worry!" says an off-panel voice from above. We see a close-up of the source: a fish with web coming out of its tail. "SPIDER-FISH IS TO THE RESCUE!" says Spider-Fish. Spider-Fish hangs from a web near Alex and Max. "Come with me!" she says. "Huh?" says Alex. "Climb up my web!" says Spider-Fish. The door opens to reveal Cutie Pie. "WHAT IS GOING ON?" says Cutie Pie. The next panel is Spider-Fish and Cutie Pie running toward each other, each angry. "SPIDER-FISH vs CUTIE PIE" "EPIC BATTLE!!" says the caption.

#87: The Box Returns (Part Four)

Max and Alex are in a cage. The coloring is negative. Cutie Pie is next to a door. "It's time for my lunch break. Don't go anywhere." Close-up as the door slams. "Okay Max, we need some kind of saw. Maybe some kind of acid to melt the bars. Or we could - " says Alex. Max simply steps through the giant space between the bars. Alex is surprised. 
Max uses his inner genius to escape his cage.

A cardboard box with smiley face falls to the ground Alex and Max standing next to it. Everything is negative-colored, black is white, white is black. "Well, well, well..." says an off-panel voice. We see it's the voice of Cutie Pie. "Looks like I get THREE prisoners!" "Wait a minute. Our cousin told us about you. You're Cutie Pie. You became a super villian because Marvel turned your application form down." says Alex. "That I am." says Cutie Pie, pulling a lever. A cage falls on top of Alex and Max. "Welcome to my lair." 
Alex and Max are captured by Cutie Pie, an evil supervillain.

Alex, Max, and a cardboard box with a smiley face are next to a hole. "Should we go in?" asks Alex. "I guess." says Max. Max lowers Alex in, then rainbow sparkles come off them as they slowly hover down to the ground with a THUMP.

#84: The Box Returns (Part One)

A cardboard box with a smiley face follwowing a red signal scooches past Alex and Max. "Hey, there's the box that tried to laser us. Where do you think it's going?" says Alex. "Let's see." says Max. They follow the box to a hole in the ground the signal is coming from. There is a sign with a down arrow next to the hole. Underground, Cutie Pie is saying "Almost there..." holding up a remote sending out the signal. In front of him is a HACKER 5000 connected to the cardboard box's camera.
HACKER 5000: The latest black-hat cardboard-robot hacking technology!

#83: Cheapskate

Fred is becoming increasingly annoyed and sleepy as no one buys his lemonade, the price ranging from $1 to 99 cents, 75, 25, 1 cent, and finally, it is free and a crowd line up. Fred is surprised and the cups and lemonade pitcher are jerked.
Won't even spend a penny on fresh lemonade. Ridiculous.

Max gets a valentine from the mailbox. "Oh look! I got a valentine! Wow! I wonder who sent it to me! Okay! I'll read it...reading..."Hi! This valentine was sent to you by AVA. Who's Ava? "Automatic VAlentine-mailer."" He crumples it up and tosses it.

Fred and Amanda are falling through the sky. "So, we're falling down instead of up. Now what? We'll go splat." says Fred. "The MASTER of Duct Tape does NOT "go splat."" replies Amanda, MASTER in fancy letters. She releases in a shower of light tendrils of duct tape, which form a biplane. "I never thought you could make airplanes out of duct tape." says Fred from in a seat. "Learn something new every day." says Amanda from the other seat.
After a long day falling up, Fred and Amanda fall back down.

Fred says "It's my 51st birthday!" "Cool!" says Grady. "Let's bake a cake!" says Fred as they rush out of the panel. A pink cake with white frosting on top and in the middle is on a white plate on a thin table. "Let's add the candles!" says Fred. In the next panel, 52 candles are sticking out of the cake at all angles. "...And one to grow on!" says Grady, holding a small dragon. A beat panel. Grady and Fred are smiling. "...How are we going to pull all these candles out?" asks Fred. "I'm not sure." says Grady. 
Never use a dragon to light candles.

Amanda and Fred are falling upwards through the sky. "Wait. I have an idea." says Amanda. She snags a sign saying UP-O-METER with a red dial pointing downward with a long cord of duct tape. Then she cranks the arrow to point up. Fred and Amanda and the sign stop falling upward...AHHH and start falling downward.

Amanda and Fred are falling upward through the sky. "Hey cuz." says Amanda. "Hi Amanda." says Fred. We zoom out to reveal where they are in the layers of the atmosphere. "How'd you get up here?" asks Amanda. "I turned a dial on a sign that said UP-O-METER." says Fred. "Oh no. Are you sure?" asks Amanda. "Yup." says Fred. We zoom out a tiny bit. "You just reversed gravity." explains Amanda. "Whoops." says Fred.

Fred is holding onto a sign reading UP-O-METER and with a red arrow that points down. Fred is being pulled upward. Suddenly the metal signpole breaks, CLANG, and WAAAAH he is flung upward with the broken sign. He is still screaming AHHH while falling upward but we cannot see the sign. Suddenly he sees Amanda, his cousin. "?" says Fred. "!" says Amanda. 
Fred has a family get-together in midair.

The caption is "FRED DISCOVERS THE COSMIC SETTINGS CONTROL PANEL..." Fred walks toward a sign. "?" The sign says "UP-O-METER" and has a red arrow on it pointing up. It also is printed with a black circle. Fred trips and with a WHIRR accidentally pushes down the UP-O-METER till it points down. He is then dragged up as if gravity had reversed, holding onto the sign. "WAUGH" The concrete holding the sign down begins to KRAK.

"Happy birthday, Gramps!" says Fred, handing Gramps a purple box with a black ribbon. "I got you a truck." says Fred. Gramps, ripping the wrapping paper away to reveal an Amazon box, says, "I'm a little old for toy trucks." "It's not a toy." says Fred. "Huh?" says Gramps. The box starts to shake. Fred says, "You might want to move." With a BEEP BEEP, a silver Ford F-150 comes crashing out of the box. "WAUGH!" says Gramps. We zoom out. The F-150 flies over Gramps's head and lands with a CRASH. The front wheel is lodged in the ground. "Well? Do you like it?" asks Fred. "Um..." says Gramps.
